When i was looking for a college to study at i rejected most because i wanted to study to be a restorer. Not study to pass and exam.
I studied with Bruce Luckhurst at the Little Surrenden workshops (the full time, one year course no longer available) and wouldn't hesitate to recommend his short courses to anyone (watch out for the dry snse of humour) (cheque in the post Bruce?)

The degree show for the BA (Hons) Furniture Restoration, Conservation & Decorative Arts runs from Sunday 14th June until Friday 19th June with Private viewing on Friday 12th June. Venue: Bucks New Uni, High Wycombe.
This (excellent) course is being 'frozen' for a year due to lack of numbers. (Strange that this decision was taken BEFORE the open day!)

That's the problem with the world since the accountants took over; blinkered thinking!

Got the dates a bit muddled; private viewing Friday 12th June evening, open Saturday during the day, closed Sunday, then open until Thursday.
I'm sure the reason that the numbers are low (as always this time of year) is that the course is not marketed in any meaningful way.
