18 people attended the furniture study days held at Godinton House, Ashford, Kent. Christopher Claxton-Stevens and Bruce Luckhurst guided the students round what is a most interesting collection of country house furniture dating from the early 17th Century to the 1930s. Students had unprecedented access to the collection due to the generosity of the administrators who made the groups most welcome.
Following the very positive feedback we received, Christopher Claxton-Stevens has managed to arrange another study day for Saturday 14th March at Attingham Park in Shropshire. Unfortunately numbers are again restricted this time to just 8. It will be a case of first come, first served so please register your interest without delay. Further details will be posted nearer the time.
