Bowett and Lomax, the latter a past curator of member house Temple Newsam, Leeds, survey the life, works and legacy of perhaps Britain's - maybe the world's - most furniture maker. There are plenty of full-colour examples pictured, and at the back a helpful list of fifteen places where visitors can see originals on display.
