Mona is highly qualified and experienced in the restoration and conservation of period and contemporary picture and mirror frames and antique furniture, specialising in traditional water gilding and oil gilding.

She has vast experience in cultural heritage using a variety of materials and techniques, such as:

• Boulle furniture
• Japanned lacquer
• Wood carvings
• Metal work
• French polishing
• Conservation for UK museums, galleries and private foundations
• Polychromed decorative objects and simulated paint effects on wood, leather and fabric including bespoke reproduction
• Conservation for paintings in collaboration with highly qualified painting conservators
• Porcelaine and faience conservation
• Analysis and research to enable objects to be better technically understood
• Advise on the handling, storage and safe display of objects

Mona is based in London and is available to work on projects in her workshop or on site
